An old secluded building, by the sea. Sheltered from the faded walls, dreary and disenchanted lives. MALEK, lives alone in the ground floor. She observes her neighbors LOTFI and FATMA. Their arguments are frequent, violence is routine. MALEK has a strong friendship with KHALED, her neighbor above, who knows her better than anyone else and is her last refuge. On occasion, Malek guards little LILIA, MONA’s daughter, a young divorcee who struggles to make both ends meet and gives up her body to pay off her debts. The whole building knows that. MALEK rubs shoulders with this small world with humor also some concern too. Because she knows that within her walls there is a monster who wants to satisfy his desire.
